Bartholomew Gooding

A writer and map maker, Bartholomew was appointed with the job of creating maps of new regions, and keeping detailed notes on his findings.

Bartholomew was cynical by nature, but being stuck with this stupid task and being partnered with people he would love to see drown in the castle moat has only made him more irritable and volatile. "Bart", for short, never has anything nice to say, and rarely misses an opportunity to prove it.

Vaughan Bell
Age - 45
Height - 5'8''
Weight - 130 lbs

A cleric of Green Moor, Vaughan was selected to protect Bart on his journey, and as a missionary to new lands. His magical abilities are considerable, making him much more of a threat than he appears.

Judgmental and condescending, Vaughan is a shining example of what happens to a man after a lifetime of celibacy. He resents ever having joined the faith, but is reluctant to give it up due to the incredible power he's amassed over his lifetime.

Doug Bladedancer
Age - 20
Height - 6'0''
Weight - 200 lbs

A descendant of a long bloodline of master swordsmen in the service of the king. Doug is the muscle of the group, and, like Vaughan, was selected as a guardian for Bart during his mission.

Doug is a happy guy, but people assume it's because he's too stupid to have learned any other emotions. To say that Doug is as dumb as bricks would be a grave mistake; the last time something like that was uttered, it resulted in the Great Brick Uprising, when all the bricks of the Green Moor became enraged at the terrible insult dealt to them, and attempted to destroy the land. Thankfully, they were only bricks, and therefore were incapable of doing anything.

They still hold a grudge against mankind to this very day...

PLOT:

The Other End is a realm parallel to that of our own; a strange world where magic is commonplace, and men live and die by the sword.

The Other End is vast, indeed; no man is certain how large it is. Kingdoms in this realm only concern themselves with their own issues and are largely apathetic to the happenings outside of their borders.

Enter Bartholomew, Vaughan, and Doug: three men from the kingdom of Green Moor who have been given the task of mapping the realm in it's entirety.

Artwork submitted to the OCAD site is considered "on loan" to OCAD, and may be used online, without further modification, for as long as OCAD wishes. Artwork may also be used for purposes of promotion and/or navigation within the OCAD pageset. If we want to use your artwork anywhere else, we will ask for your permission first.
